Client Makes ALL Decisions
At all times, the Client makes the decisions.
The Broker acts in a professional capacity, providing information, asking questions, relaying information between Client and the other party’s Broker, tracking deadlines, prepping and relaying documents, and counseling the Client regarding their best interests.
Client then makes the applicable decisions and directs the Broker to act on their behalf. Broker will ask that some decisions be put in writing, to protect both parties (Client and Broker). If the Client’s choice happens to be off-standard, Broker might may ask Client to provide formal legally-binding phrasing in writing, as prepared by Client’s lawyer.
Seeking legal advice is always recommended and encouraged.
